Ronamossen and Klockesjömyren are neighboring peat bogs. They have both been relatively unaffected by drainage and other human activities. Both are bordered by forest but otherwise entirely open or with scattered pine trees. Laggs on the edges of the bogs are rich in bog asphodel, bell-heather and cottongrass. Breeding birds include golden plover, common crane, northern lapwing and common snipe. Lekking black grouse also occur in the area.
