Jättaberget nature reserve

Show map

Jättaberget nature reserve is a largely rocky outcrop on the western bank of Lake Unnen. The flora and fauna is richest in the southern part, where the dominant tree species is beech. Many of the beeches are well over 100 years old and include a high proportion of dead and decaying wood which supports many uncommon species of lichen (such as lungwort), moss, fungus and beetle.
