The Replösa stone is a particular treasure amongst Swedich rune stones. It stands adjacent to a large beautiful grave field. A minor part of old Småland known as Finnveden, which included the districts of Sunnebo, Västbo and Östbo was mentioned by the gotic writer Jordanes in the 6th century A.D. The Runic inscription tells the story of Astrad and Götrad, the first known settlers in Ljungby.
