Rörbro - rune stone

Show map

On a land survey map from the year 1697, the rune stone is marked at a bridge over the river Rörån. The map tells us that a king Jöns is buried beneath the stone. Even after one thousand years its site of origin, the stone still stands today. Öjvind is praised as a distinguished and generous man. He was not a cheat, was generous with his food, and had a true belief in God.
