As the biggest pristine mire in the county, Årshultsmyren offers an excellent visit for those who likes to hike! Along the mire you will be able to see marshes as well as small lakes and islands of solid ground.
Årshultsmyren consists of a varied plantkingdom, with pine forests and a variety of plants. The mire is especially famous for housing the beautiful cross-leaved heath.
There are three different hiking trails:
Orange trail: 4 kilometers.
Yellow trail: 4 kilometers.
Blue trail: 9.5 kilometers.
At the mire you will also find a parking space and information. Booklets and information about Årshultsmyren and the hikingtrails can be found at Ljungby Tourist Center.
In addition to the rules of the right of public access, you may not do any of the following in the Årshultsmyren nature reserve:
Picking plants and in general damaging the vegetation.
Camp for more than one night.
Drive a motor powered vehicle other than on roads that have been cleared.
