The Kronoberg County Fine Arts Museum
The Ljungberg Museum mainly features a large part of Sven Ljungberg and Ann Margret Dahlqvist-Ljungberg's drawings, paintings, graphics and books.
The Ljungberg Museum was first founded as a painting storehouse by Sven Ljungberg and Ann Margret Dahlqvist-Ljungberg, the former of whom was born, grew up and lived most of his time here in Ljungby during which he also worked for the welfare of this town with a hearty will, thus an important character. This painting storehouse was shortly after turned into a fine arts museum in 1990.
Nowadays several exhibitions of various movements and art styles are showcased here in cooperation with other museums every year.
The museum also provides a fine arts workshop for anyone who would like to enjoy themselves in arts working on their artistic skills regardless of any professionalism. In addition, one could also visit the fine arts shop for purchases such as of books, or even some paintings. There is also an airy café where one can rest and have a little sweet break with friends.
Please contact the Ljungberg Museum for information and booking regarding collective visits.
